Presbyterian Church in Myanmar Global Mission The Presbyterian Church of Myanmar (formerly Burma) was formed in 1956 through the work of missionaries from Mizoram in India. It now has 245 congregations with more than 33,000 members. Congregations are spread over a large area of Myanmar, often in remote mountainous regions. Give thanks for the Presbyterian Church of Myanmar (PCM) and for its priorities of evangelism, church planting and theological education. Pray for Rev Ling Zaw, General Secretary PCM. Pray that Myanmar will adjust well to democratic rule and remember PCM’s witness to Christ in a majority Buddhist society.
