Toddler groups form one of the most consistent ministries within many of our churches. They are often not given as much attention as some of the other ministries to children and families within our congregations. Our challenge though is to make our toddler groups more missional in their outlook and encourage our congregations to think through how to reach out to the adults and the children that attend and build relationships with them.

Move it on: ideas for developing your toddler group is a new resource produced by the Council for Congregational Life and Witness that begins to address this. It is aimed at encouraging congregations to think about the purpose and potential of their toddler group.

The resource is filled with challenges, reflections, ideas and real stories of how churches can develop what they are already doing and maximise the potential of this vital ministry.
