The Chaplaincy Centre based on Elmwood Avenue is at the heart of the Queen’s University Belfast campus. Students can meet new people, play pool or watch TV in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where they can meet the Chaplains, interns or just hang out. The Chaplaincy Centre offers pastoral care and a counselling service for any student in need of a listening ear or some guidance.
The Chaplain, Rev. David Gray, and his assistant are always available for any student who is in need of some help whether personal, spiritual or educational.
Situated in the heart of the university on Elmwood Avenue the chaplaincy centre assists students in a variety of different ways. There are rooms available for small groups, quiet study and a lively cafe, cafe Grace, with free wi-fi, affordable food and great coffee.
The Chaplaincy Centre is also connected to the Presbyterian Halls of residence on Derryvolgie Avenue. Derryvolgie Hall houses 88 students and is also a Chaplaincy venue for relevant biblical teaching and creative worship.
The United Appeal assists with the funding of the Council of Social Witness, enabling the Council to support the work and Christian witness offered at the Chaplaincy Centre.
