How to Donate

Our mission as Presbyterian Women is to encourage women to become disciples of Christ. Your donation will go towards a range of ministries and missions supported by Presbyterian Women.

Each year, Presbyterian Women support a Home and Overseas project. In 2019-20, the Special Home Project will support the work of the Council for Social Witness’ Specialist services, supporting people with addictions and offending behaviour, who require support housing. Funding will be divided between Thompson House, which provides supported housing for male ex-offenders; Carlisle House, a residential substance misuse treatment centre; and Gray’s Court, a move-on supported living project. Funds raised will be used to supply each of the Houses with resources to run Christianity/Life Explored courses for residents, as well as specific projects within each House.

The Special Overseas Project for 2019-20 will support the translation into Arabic, and publication and distribution, of a devotional book to help young Christian girls grow daily in their relationship and walk with God. This will be produced by a Christian publishing house in Beirut dedicated to the production of Christian literature, helping Arabic women find their peace in God amidst the challenges they face daily.

Your funding will also support the work of Deaconesses as they seek to serve God, the Church and the community; as well as the work of South Belfast Friendship House and its ongoing ministry with children, teenagers and adults in South Belfast.

Through the work of the Council for Global Mission your partnership will reach across the world; supporting Global Mission Workers to ensure that all might hear and know the reality of Christ at work in their lives.
