Appeals

World Development Appeal

The World Development Appeal is an annual initiative of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland that focuses on helping people trapped in poverty.

The current World Development Appeal Starting from Scratch focusses on people who have been forced to leave their homes and land in Sierra Leone and start their lives from scratch.

Your donations will support these organisations as they seek to rekindle hope, changing stories of flight into stories of flourishing.

Ukraine Crisis Appeal

In response to the devastating Russian invasion of Ukraine and exodus of people from the country, Presbyterian Moderator, Right Rev Dr David Bruce, launched a Moderator’s Appeal towards the emergency relief effort.

Continuing to encourage the Church to pray for the people of Ukraine, Dr Bruce also asked PCI members across Ireland to give generously to the Church’s partners involved in providing humanitarian aid to those fleeing the conflict and those trying to get aid into Ukraine.

United Appeal

Mission is at the heart of the entire ministry of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.

That’s why United Appeal is so important. It brings together resources including prayer and financial giving, to help support PCI’s work not just across Ireland, but globally as well.

From witnessing to local communities and helping through social action to training our leaders and working in partnership with other churches around the world, the United Appeal helps to keep mission at the core of PCI values.
