Youth Ministry Certificate Course

9.3.2016 | Training for Ministry, Youth and Children,

The course is designed to support leaders in church-based youth ministry and will provide insight into Youth Fellowship, Youth Club and Bible Class or any other church based youth ministry. This is also the ideal context to network with others in youth ministry, while being resourced and envisioned, trained and refreshed.

The course will be held in Union Theological College on Monday nights and will incorporate a teaching programme of 16 weeks plus an introduction evening.

The weekly class time commitment is 2 hours (7.30-9.30pm) and there is a required weekend residential in November.

A team of experienced lecturers will deliver these highly practical courses which will lead to the award of a Certificate in Youth Ministry. In addition to attending the weekly lectures and residential the certificate will be awarded to those who successfully complete 2 coursework assignments. There are no academic entrance requirements for this course; however, it is expected that candidates will be engaged in church-based youth ministry.

  • Discipling Young People in a Diverse Society
  • Putting it all together: Programme Planning and Design
  • Nurturing Effective Youth Ministry within the life of the Congregation

September 2016 Youth Ministry Course

Commencement Date:  Union Theological College – Monday, 26th September, 2016. 

Cost: The full fee is £150, or £30 deposit plus £120 balance.

This includes tuition and weekend residential and may be paid in two instalments.

Booking opens 13th June 2016, with a class size capacity of 25. 

It is advisable to book early. Places will be allocated on a ‘first come’ basis.
