The course is designed to support leaders in church-based youth ministry and will provide insight into Youth Fellowship, Youth Club, and Bible Class or any other church based youth ministry. This is also the ideal context to network with others in youth ministry, while being resourced and envisioned, trained and refreshed.
 
The course will be held at Union Theological College on Monday nights and will incorporate a teaching programme of 16 weeks plus an introduction evening. There is a weekly class time commitment of two hours (7.30pm - 9.30pm) and a required residential weekend in November.
 
A team of experienced lecturers will deliver these highly practical courses which will lead to the award of a Certificate in Youth Ministry. In addition to attending the weekly lectures and residential the certificate will be awarded to those who successfully complete two coursework assignments. There are no academic entrance requirements for this course; however, it is expected that candidates will be engaged in church-based youth ministry.

Class size restriction: Class size is limited to 25 people. It is advisable to book early. Places will be allocated on a ‘first come’ basis.

The full fee is £/€150 (including a non-returnable £30 deposit). This includes tuition, course text and the weekend residential. A place will only be secured on the payment of a £/€30 deposit. The balance of £/€120 must be paid via the Congregational Life and Witness office. Places are restricted and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
