This April sees the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement, which was subsequently approved by referenda across the island of Ireland in May 1998.
Over the coming weeks there will be many events hosted by civic society and the UK and Irish governments to mark this anniversary.
Throughout Scripture God encourages His people to pause and take time to reflect on significant moments in the past. PCI congregations are encouraged to do just that on Sunday 16th April 2023, using the words of the Vision for Society statement, received by the General Assembly in 2016, giving thanks for the achievements of the Agreement, whilst also recognising that this is also a painful anniversary for some.
