A pocket-sized card encouraging children to talk to an adult about any concern that they may have. This unique initiative was approved by the Children’s Law Centre, NSPCC and the Children’s Commissioner and was sponsored by the Presbyterian Children’s Society.

This pocket-sized accordion style leaflet provides advice and information based on the Taking Care guidelines. It also has relevant contact phone numbers. It is essential for every leader and helper working with children and young people in all Presbyterian congregations to have one of these. It was sponsored by Oval Insurance Broking and the Presbyterian Children's Society.


We Care With U Parents Guide Cover‘We Care With u’ – A Parent/Carer Guide

This pocket-sized leaflet was designed specifically for parents and carers of children. The leaflet informs parents of the Church’s child protection policy and reminds them of how they can help leaders to protect children. Kindly sponsored by Oval Insurance Broking and the Presbyterian Children’s Society.


'Taking Care of All'

A pocket-sized leaflet to accompany the adult safeguarding policy and guidelines of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. The leaflet provides a definition of ‘Adults at Risk’ (NI) and ‘Vulnerable Persons’ (ROI). It highlights some types of harm to adults and some advice on how to prevent and respond to these.

 


'Reporting a Concern in the Republic of Ireland'

A pocket-sized leaflet created in response to the Children First Act 2015 and Mandated Reporting. This leaflet explains what Mandated Reporting is, who is a Mandated Person, our responsibility as a church, and, how to respond to a concern regarding a child.
