Let’s pray today, 2 Sep 2026, as we lift up these prayer points together

The Christian Church of Sumba, Indonesia (GKS)

Give thanks for 44th General Assembly of the GKS Synod which took place in early July with the theme, “Caring for life in the love of Christ”.

Pray for the church’s leadership, including Rev Marlin Lomi, Moderator, and Rev Yakub M. Bili, General Secretary, as they work to implement the Assembly’s decisions in regard to issues of poverty, injustice and environmental damage.

Stephen and Angelina Cowan, global mission workers, Kenya

Give thanks that the recently concluded Youth Camp went very well. Praise God for all involved in leading the camp, including a team from Waringstown congregation.

Pray that through the Bible teaching, games and crafts, many young people will have heard the gospel and that God’s Spirit will move in a way that bears much fruit.
