This resource contains guidelines and useful information for Clerks of Session. It was developed by the Elders’ Panel of the Council for Congregational Life and Witness. It would be useful for anyone who is an existing Clerk of Session and especially for those who are new to the role. The first section of the resource which gives a summary of the role of the Clerk of Session would also be useful for Kirk Sessions considering who to appoint as a new Clerk of Session.
