Hospital chaplaincy Mission in Ireland, Chaplaincy Rev. Brian Hughes, chaplain serving in Belfast City Hospital, shares the following prayer requests: A new year has begun, but with it comes increasing challenges to the health service. Pray for all currently involved in resolving the current crises. Pray for all the doctors, nurses and paramedics who are under tremendous stress, working currently in the Accident and Emergency Departments throughout Northern Ireland, that God may give them the strength, wisdom, energy and the resources to meet and face each daily challenge. Pray too for all the hospital chaplains working alongside the medical and nursing staff that God will use their presence, their conversations and their visits to patients to bring hope, courage and a re-awakening of faith and trust in Jesus.
