Project: Sabbaticals for ministers

Summary: PCI often gets requests for leaders from our partner churches to come to Ireland for a sabbatical. This can involve a period of rest, study, writing a thesis or book, or an opportunity to learn about church in a context different from their own. The sabbatical can last from one month to one year and works best when the leader is connected with a local church. 

The amount of funding needed depends on the length and purpose of the sabbatical. If your congregation would like to support a sabbatical, please contact the mission department to discuss this opportunity mission@presbyterianireland.org

Please note that congregations wishing to support any of our special projects are honour bound to first meet their United Appeal target for the year in question.
