Taking Care - Child Protection Guidelines

Taking Care - Conference 2007

310 delegates, 14 speakers, 6 workshops, one conference - the Taking Care Conference was a great success. Here are just some of the comments we have received:

"It's valuable and important to highlight the child protection topic. It's good to have the chance to meet with people in other congregations in a setting like this" (Designated Person)

"Superb, Helpful and Frightening" (Minister)

"Very valuable, informative and helpful" (Sunday School Co-ordinator)

"Great! Definitely raised awareness and also a desire to help where I can" (Missionary on home leave)

"Good for such a boring subject" (Youth Leader)

"Conference valuable because it highlights the care you need to take as a leader to protect yourself and the children in our care" (Kids Club Leader)

"I think it's important to keep folk up to date - every church may be at a different stage. Conferences like this can bring people to the same point" (Church Elder)
