Prayer Requests:

  • For Jenny, that she would continue to keep focused on Christ, and be given wisdom and humility as she settles into her new role, and gets to know staff and volunteers and the local residents.
  • For future plans, that God would reveal His plan for the role of Friendship House, particularly in the plans for the new extension.
  • For the Management Committee.
  • For Eunice Moore and Menita Cheesman, the part-time workers who give so much of their time to caring for those who come into Friendship House and who have built up good relationships in the area.
  • For Julie Gibson, detached Youth Worker in Great Victoria Street Presbyterian, who also helps in Friendship House.
  • For more volunteers with a heart and a passion for outreach among the young people.
  • For the provision of a safe place where young people can go in the evenings.
  • For continued links with the various churches and community groups, so that we can build on relationships already made.
  • Give thanks for the work of Friendship House over many years, and for the vision and hard work of all those who have enabled it to continue.
