Background:

Sadie comes from Belfast, although her family moved to Bangor in 1970. Her home congregation is Helen's Bay Presbyterian Church. She and her husband, Neil, have been married for over 30 years and they have lived in Carrickfergus for the past three years. Sadie has just completed four years' service in Whiteabbey congregation.

Present Ministry:

Sadie sees her ministry as one of encouragement throughout the congregation, helping people to see their potential and use the gifts God has given them in every aspect of their lives. She is involved in visitation of the elderly, getting alongside those who are sick, both in hospital and at home, and those bereaved. Sadie also co-ordinates the senior citizens group (Friendship Hour) and the parent and toddler group (Kids & Co). She is a Home Group Leader and active PWA member.

There's not much time left for hobbies and interests, but Sadie's passion is her home and family. She also enjoys knitting, reading and walking.

  • Please pray that Sadie will be guided by the Holy Spirit in all things.
  • Pray for God's presence and wisdom in every situation and conversation.
