Background:

Gillian trained as a Medical Receptionist before going to Edinburgh to train as a deaconess. She has two sisters and a brother. Her home congregation is Newtownbreda.


Present Ministry:

Working with Rev Ken Doherty at Woodvale Presbyterian Church, Gillian enjoys the variety of her work and finds it very rewarding, whether it is visiting the members in their own homes or in hospital or nursing homes. Gillian is involved with the Girls' Brigade, the King's Club, PWA and with the senior citizen group - the Sunshine Hour, as well as the day to day administration and preparation for services.


Interests:

Reading, music, travelling, eating out, cinema/theatre, cooking.


Prayer Requests:

  • For the up-building of God's people - that they may grow together and encourage one another.
  • For those on the fringe with little or no connection with the church.
  • For health and strength, and for safety in travelling.
