Background:
Sharon worked in the Civil Service as a typist before applying for deaconess work. She also worked part-time in a voluntary capacity for the YMCA before training to become a deaconess. Sharon was married in July 1996 and has two children, Hannah and Joshua.

Prayer Requests:
- That Strand would catch God's vision for Sydenham through the Red Sky Project.
- That God would equip Sharon for the work among families and young people.
- That the members of Strand will be encouraged in their Christian lives, grow strong in their walk with the Lord and be living sacrifices for Him.
- That God will help the church to continue to grow and be a beacon of light and hope in that community and that many more will come to know Jesus Christ personally.
