Prayer Requests:

Give thanks for:

  • the provision of a completely refurbished, extended Friendship House, which is proving to be such an asset;
  • the hard-working staff working alongside Jenny -- Eunice Moore, Ashley McFaul, a willing band of volunteers (including students from Derryvolgie Halls of Residence), Julie Gibson (detached youth worker from Great Victoria Street Presbyterian Church);
  • the witness of Friendship House over many years, and the vision and hard work of all those who have enabled it to continue.

Please pray for:

  • Jenny and her colleagues, that they would continue to keep focused on Christ, and be guided as to how best to meet the many local needs;
  • continued vision and wisdom for the Management Committee;
  • more volunteers with a passion for serving and reaching the Sandy Row community;
  • the development of youth work among those from Years 8-10;
  • the Youth Alpha Course beginning early September;
  • the ongoing links with the various churches and community groups, so that we can build on relationships already made.
