Background:
Julie grew up in Glenavy. She graduated with a BA(Hons) in Banking and Finance in 2000.
Just after this she felt God's call to work in His Church and served in Gardenmore for two years. She married Stuart in 2003 and commenced deaconess training in Union College shortly after that, graduating with a Diploma in Ministry (Diaconal Studies) in 2005.
Julie served her probationary year in Waringstown and in 2006 was called to serve full-time in Portrush.

- Pastoral work amongst women -- one-to-one Bible study and book club
- Involvement in services
- Supporting those who volunteer in various ministries in the Church
- Co-ordinating the Christianity Explored groups
- Leading Bible studies

Reading, spending time with family and friends, going for walks, watching West Wing, jewellery-making

Prayer Requests:
- Praise God for the opportunities for service that He has opened up and for the relationships that He is working through.
- That Julie would be rooted in Christ and grow in Him. That all she does would be in His strength and bring glory to His Name.
- For wisdom to balance responsibilities.
- For Portrush congregation -- that our lives would be marked by God's grace and an increasing desire to see His Kingdom come. Also that we would continue to grow in love for the Lord, for one another, and for the community of which we are a part.
- That those who are hearing the Gospel through Christianity Explored and one-to-one study will put their faith in Christ.
- For the work amongst the migrant women.
- For growth in discipleship for those who have recently come to Christ.
