Background:

Michelle has spent most of her life in Dromore, Co Down, although she lived in Belfast for six years and Fermanagh for two. Having completed her two years of study at Union Theological College and a probationary placement in Legacurry, Michelle is now working in Ballygowan.

Present Ministry:

  • Developing a ministry for young adults (16-24 year olds).
  • Supporting youth organisations.
  • Developing women's pastoral ministry.
  • Supporting and promoting 'inreach' ministry (focusing on pastoral care, welcome to visitors and new members, communication between organisations).
  • Assisting in worship service when required.

Interests:

Reading, going to the cinema and being with friends.

Prayer Requests:

  • For wisdom as Michelle seeks to meet the pastoral needs of women in the congregation and develop a ministry to engage with the young adults who are on the fringes of congregational life.
  • For her own relationship with God that it will continue to strengthen and that it will enable her to depend completely on Him for all that she needs.
