Presbyterian Church Not To Proceed With Sale Of Church House

Following a meeting of its General Board in Belfast today, Tuesday 13 September, the Presbyterian Church has decided not to proceed with the sale of Church House until further consideration of the matter at the General Assembly in June 2006.

Notes to Editors: The General Board is the most representative body within the Church apart from the General Assembly and regularly meets to transact the Church's business between the annual meetings of its Assembly.
