Further to Dr Uprichard's visits to schools and churches in Ballymena, Ahoghill and Carnlough on Monday and Tuesday 5 and 6 September, he and Fr Hugh O'Hagan visited with several of the families intimidated and attacked during the summer on Wednesday and Thursday evening.
Dr Uprichard expressed to them his abhorrence at the attacks they had suffered and his solidarity with them. He assured them of his prayers and said that their leaving of Ahoghill would be a loss to the community.
