The 2004 edition of Points for Prayer has just been published by the Presbyterian Church.
Running to over 60 pages the annual book features two pages for every day of the month giving facts and useful information about the wider work of the Presbyterian Church at home and abroad.
"Prayer is one of the key elements of the Christian life," explains Stephen Lynas, the Church's Information Officer. "To be really effective prayer has, not only to be regular, but well informed and that is the function of the Points for Prayer book - to keep people up to date about what God is doing through the Presbyterian Church."
In addition to the book people can keep up to date weekly by consulting Prayerline which give detailed weekly information particularly about the overseas work of the church. Prayerline can be accessed online at www.presbyterianireland.org or through a recorded message on 028 9032 6009.
The Points for Prayer book is distributed through congregations at a price of £1.50 or is available from the Communications Office, Church House, Belfast BT1 6DW, Tel: 028 9032 2284, email:info@presbyterianireland.org
