Presbyterian Moderator Dr Ivan McKay was presented with a cheque for £22,500 by the Boys' Brigade Junior Section last Tuesday 28 November in Church House, Belfast.
The money was raised by BB Junior Sections throughout Northern Ireland and will be used to buy a vehicle for the Theological Education Scheme run by the Presbyterian Church of East Africa which trains ministers and Sunday School teachers in Kenya.
