Presbyterian Moderator Designate, Dr Alastair Dunlop, has announced his two chaplains who will assist him during the forthcoming General Assembly and his year of office.
They are Rev John Kirkpatrick, minister of Portrush Presbyterian Church and Rev Ivan McKay, minister of the Dundonald congregation.
John Kirkpatrick is well known as Honorary Chaplain to the Motor Cycle Union of Ireland and was Alastair Dunlop's first assistant when he was minister in Portglenone. Ivan McKay, apart from being a neighbouring minister to the Moderator Designate, has been a close friend since school days together at RBAI
Dr Dunlop will take up office at the opening session of the General Assembly in Belfast on Monday June 4 in succession to Dr Trevor Morrow.
