Whitehead Presbyterians Cut Birthday Cake With New Moderator!

On Sunday morning (18.06.00) at 11.30am Presbyterian Moderator Dr Trevor Morrow will visit Whitehead Presbyterian Church, for a special centenary celebration service. After taking part in the service, Dr Morrow has been invited to join no less than one hundred and twenty members of the congregation as they meet for a church family dinner in the hall at 1.15pm.

The service and dinner form part of Whitead's year long programme of centenary celebrations. Other events this year have included a mission with Dr Harry Allen and an Easter weekend away. Forthcoming dates include a flower festival in July, a mission deputation from Youth for Christ and a visit from the RUC band later in the year.

Commenting on the centenary, minister of Whitehead Presbyterian Rev Fred Bradley says:

"We're delighted to welcome Dr Morrow to our celebrations this Sunday and hope that he will really feel welcome here in our church. It also gives us, as a congregation an opportunity to thank God for His faithfullness in the past and express our hope in Him for the future."
