The Presbyterian Church in Ireland Board of Evangelism and Christian Training are seeking applicants to fill the post of a denomination wide Director of Evangelism. The appointment is for five years.
The appointee will work in liason with the church Evangelism Committee and is expected to work some unsocial hours, travelling throughout the church.
The job will entail encouraging congregation, presbytery and church in response to God's call to evangelise. This will be done by focusing on vision, training, communication and development. The appointee will be expected to keep in touch with wider evangelistic thinking around the world and should seek to bring a specifically reformed approach to outreach.
