The Ballynafeigh Clergy Fellowship applaud the Officers and Members of Belfast No10 LOL for their decision not to parade on July 12 this year in the light of prevailing circumstances.
This decision has not been easy for them, but as a magnanimous and statesmanlike gesture it has greatly eased tension in the area.
As such, it should be recognised and warmly welcomed by all in the community.
It is to be hoped that this move will further enhance good relationships in the locality and help in future talks to encourage a spirit of generosity on the part of all.
