Two members from the Environmental Panel of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland attended the ECEN (European Christian Environmental Network) Assembly in Voles, Greece in May. Fifty-one church delegates met from eighteen different European countries. Rev. Sam Millar and Mr. Joe Furphy were the only. Joe Furphy were the only representatives from Churches in Ireland. In the February edition of the Herald, Robert Buick wrote an article on the production of organic milk under the heading 'A Land Flowing with milk (and honey)?' Norman Walsh, President of the Ulster Beekeepers' Association and a member of Hillsborough congregation, tells us that Ireland also has lots of honey.(Presbyterian Herald July 2004)
