Whiteabbey

Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church, situated on the shores of Belfast Lough between Belfast and Carrickfergus, is a congregation of about 450 families.

At the focus of Whiteabbey Presbyterian is our worship of the Triune God, and as such one of the key times in the church's week is our meeting for worship each Sunday. The Christian life is, however, much more than a Sunday service and during the week there are a wide range of activities for young and old, which give opportunities for service, prayer, bible study, fellowship, a chat over a cup of tea, football, bowls...

Apart from organisations such as Boys Brigade, Guides, Brownies and Rainbows, Whiteabbey also has two youth clubs, two youth fellowships, three Sunday schools and a Bible class, as well as a mums and toddlers group. For people who are a little older we also have times of informal fellowship called the 'Friendship Hour' and 'Coffee & Chat'.

All in all, a lively church, whose life seeks to be centred around, and quickened by, the Lord we serve.
