Warrenpoint Road
Sunday Service:
Minister: Rev. David J. Temple |
RostrevorA small congregation ever since it was founded in 1850 with the assistance of Belfast's Fisherwick congregation, Rostrevor is situated on the main Warrenpoint Road just below Rostrevor village, itself tucked closely beneath the Eastern end of the Mourne Mountain range in one of the most beautiful areas of Ireland. The church is easily located being on the right hand side coming into Rostrevor from Warrenpoint and before the roundabout. There is adequate car parking in the grounds with the entrance gates just before the church building. ÊAs well as the Church Hall there is also the Youth Centre in the Church grounds which has accomodation for 26 and is used by a variety of Youth Groups and other congregational groups. At present bookings should be made through the Youth Office in Church House. The Minister is Rev. David J. Temple who is also minister of Warrenpoint Presbyterian Church. Worship each Sunday at 10.am. is fairly traditional, Bible-based and Christ centred. Coffee/tea served in the church hall on 1st Sunday of each month. The congregation is justly proud of its community involvement as it seeks to be an authentic witness to Christ in the community. Visitors are always most warmly welcomed.
