Rossnowlagh

Possibly the last remaining tin church in Ireland, Rossnowlagh Presbyterian Church was erected in 1906 and services begun for people holidaying in the area. Rossnowlagh has long been famous for its long, flat beach and safe bathing. Having seen some refurbishment in recent years, the building nevertheless retains its simple, quaint charm.

Since 1992 the neighbouring congregation of Donegal Town has revived these summer services which are at 8.00 pm during July and August each year. Informal atmosphere, warm welcome, a wide variety of international visitors, lively praise, Biblical message and refreshments all contribute to making a visit to Rossnowlagh a memorable experience!
