Kilmount

Kilmount is found on the Mountain Lodge Road, six miles out of Cootehill on the left hand side. It owes its foundation to the movement of God's Spirit known as the 1859 Revival. It is the most recently founded of the Congregations of the Monaghan Presbytery. The congregation consists of 33 families, with 89 persons of all ages claiming a connection to us, mainly employed in agriculture. Most of our activities are with the other congregations in our group, though we do have our own Bible Study in the church on the second Tuesday of the month at 8pm. A Youth Fellowship for Cootehill, Drum and Kilmount meets in the Manse on two weekends in the month.

We aim to be a welcoming and friendly family of God's people worshipping and serving Him joyfully in our community. To that end we have weekly worship service at 12.30 pm each Sunday, with a Sunday School during the service. We are always glad to welcome visitors and assure you of a warm reception if you are able to worship with us.
