Kilmakee

Mission Statement:
'In Kilmakee we teach people how to know Jesus Christ, how to be like Him,
and how to do what He says to do.'

This young congregation sits comfortably in the Seymour Hill Estate, between Dunmurry and Lisburn just a couple of yards off the main A1 Belfast to Lisburn Road.

The estate and church are both 40 years old. There is a wide age range in the congregation, as second and now third generation residents join the original 'settlers' in our vigourous church life and outreach. There are some 320 families, most of whom live nearby in Dunmurry, Seymour Hill and Lisburn.

There is a full programme of activities for everyone including Creche, Sunday School and 'Sunday 7' for young people, Boys' Brigade, Girls' Brigade, Badminton Clubs, Indoor Bowling in the winter months, a Praise Group and a vigorous Presbyterian Women's Association.
Sunday: Services 11.00am and 7.00pm on 1st and 3rd Sun evenings; Fellowship groups 7.00pm in homes on 2nd amd 4th Sunday evenings; Sunday Schools and Bible classes during morning services; Youth Fellowship at 7.00pm
Monday: Session Prayer; Session or Committee meetings; 142nd Co Girls' Brigade
Tuesday: 'KEE' Kids and 'KEE' Teens
Wednesday: 'KEE' Senior Citizens Lunch and Fellowship on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays; PWA on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays
Thursday: 32nd Co. Boys' Brigade; Praise Group practice
Friday: Bowling Club

Being a relatively recent congregation, we manage to follow a relaxed style of worship combining the best of both traditional and modern praise. We aim to provide a friendly welcome and involve those present, rather than allow worship to become an activity for spectators only! Children participate extensively in every Sunday morning service, and a unique form of communion is shared once a month in the evenings.
