Welcome to Joymount! The congregation, session and committee are pleased that you are making enqiries about our congregation.

Joymount has a history of worship and fellowship dating back to 1852 when James Warwick began a ministry in the Courthouse. Soon after, in 1856, the current Church building at Joymount was built and has been occupied ever since. A series of worthy preachers has continued to bring the word of God and seen us through economic and political change, through war and peace. Rev. Richard Graham is the sixth minister in almost 150 years of work and witness.

On Sunday please come and join us. If you are blessed with a baby or toddler, they will be able to join our creche. Junior Sunday School (age 3- P4) go out to Sunday School during the service and Senior Sunday School and bible class is held from 10.30am.(children/young people P5 upward).

After the service, visit our bookstall. On Sunday afternoon, bring children to the Sullatober Sunday School in the new Community Centre at Oakfield (3pm-4pm).

After evening service at Joymount, our youth fellowship runs from 8.15pm.

On the Last Sunday of each month the service is led by our Praise Group consisting of instrumentalists and singers and at the close of evening worship there is a short Healing Service where prayers are said and/or the laying on of hands with prayer for the sick.

The rest of the week Joymount has something for everybody, as the weekly diary shows: Monday - Bowling, Badminton; Tuesday - Girls' Brigade; Wednesday - Friendship club for senior citizens (every other week), Boys Brigade (Anchor Boys and Junior), Midweek fellowship; Thursday - Car Boot sale 10am-12pm, Coffee morning, Choir practice, Presbyterian Women's Association (First Thursday of each month); Friday - Boys' Brigade, Company section; Saturday - Youth club.

Visitors and friends are welcome at all our services and activities.
