Harmony Hill

Harmony Hill is a relatively young congregation although Christians have worshipped in the Lambeg area for many centuries. Worship began in Lambeg village in 1954 and, from small beginnings as a church extension, the congregation has grown steadily over the past 50 years. The present Harmony Hill church building, situated on the Belfast side of Lisburn, was opened and dedicated in 1965. It is now a well-established congregation of some 530 families at present and around 1,300 individuals.

The morning services are held at 11.00 am every Sunday, with evening services at 7.00 pm throughout the year apart from the summer period. There are regular Bible study and prayer meetings, together with youth and adult organisations to cater for every age group.

Harmony Hill church aims to:

  • Promote harmony in church, community and country through the reconciling power of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
  • Be a helpful church in seeking to provide friendship and fellowship and supporting people in difficult times;
  • Be hospitable, reflecting the welcome of God towards people of all backgrounds;
  • Be hopeful by offering hope in Jesus Christ to every person.
