Glengormley

Located on the Antrim Road (beside the Lidl supermarket), Glengormley is a "come as you are" congregation where you will be greeted with a warm welcome. Since the work began in 1935 there have been many changes in the local community. But the Word of God and the good news of Christ remain central to our witness.

In our worship we seek to incorporate "the best of the old with the best of the new." We are blessed with an excellent organist and choir and a praise group takes part in our morning worship and some of our evening. Our Sunday School meets during morning worship and there is a Bible Class at 10.00 am.

We have a wide range of weekly activities, including a midweek on Wednesday at 7.30pm and a children's meeting (Friends Of God) each Friday at 7.00 pm. We run Alpha on an annual basis and we have a 20 something's group called "Nooma". Gradually a small group network is building.

Congregational Mission Statement

God's truth and love in Christ working for and through us by the Spirit for the good of all

Therefore we strive to be a church:
Whose worship is sincere and enthusiastic
Whose teaching is clear and relevant
Whose fellowship is genuine and practical
Whose members are equipped for wholehearted and sacrificial service
Whose members share friendship and the love of Christ with all
Whose concern is for the local community and the world at large
