Carrowdore & Ballyfrenis

Carrowdore and Ballyfrenis Church which is in the centre of Carrowdore village, in the Ards Peninsula, has been their since 1828, and is well established within the local and also wider community. With the nearest church three miles away, it provides a spiritual focus for the community, and has strong links with the primary school.

Sunday worship is both dignified and alive, blending the traditional with the modern. During Morning worship their is Children's Church and Crèche, which allows parents of small children to attend. Sunday School and Bible Class is held before morning worship. With evening services on the first and third Sunday of each month, and a Praise and Prayer time on the second Sunday evening of each month.

There is a full range of activities during the week: Mid-Week Bible Study, on the second and fourth Wednesday's of each month. There is also Boys' Brigade and Girls Brigade; Youth Fellowship for the young people of the congregation; Presbyterian Women's Association, for the ladies of the congregation; and Bowling Club. Members of the local community take part in many of these activities along with various social events for all ages which take place from time to time.
