Carlisle Road, Londonderry

Our Congregation (now 250 families) was founded in 1838 and the Church lies within a few hundred metres of the famous Walls of Derry in the City centre. In 1989 the Congregations of Carlisle Road and Crossroads, Co Donegal became a Union. Each Congregation retains its own identity and independence but there is a high degree of co-operation and sharing in the work and worship of Jesus Christ.

Each Sunday we commence with Sabbath Schools and Bible Class at 10:30am followed by Morning Worship at 11:30am during which time there is a Creche. On the last Sunday of each month we hold an evening service at 6:00pm. and we endeavour to make this a special event with musical items or involvement of the various organisations.

Our weekly events also include:

  • Sunday - Youth Fellowship
  • Monday - P.W.A. (twice monthly)
  • Tuesday - Girls Brigade
  • Wednesday - Mid-Week Fellowship & Prayer Meeting
  • Thursday - Anchor Boys
  • Friday - Choir Practice

Our Mission Statement: "To bring Glory to God's Name"
