Rathmore Road,
Sunday Services:
Minister: Rev. Charles McMullen |
West Church, BangorWest Church came into being in the early 1960's and has grown to a membership of approximately 850 families. From its early days it has sought to be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit and to bringing renewal in a gentle way. It is a warm-hearted and caring place to be. Our two Sunday morning services reflect diversity, the first at 10.00am being more traditional, and the second at 11.30am more contemporary in style - but there are no hard and fast rules! A creche is organised for the 11.30am service. There are separate meetings for our younger children and teens. Our evening services are at 7.00pm and cover a wide variety of style and content, but always with prayer ministry. There is much more to West than our Sunday services and in a large congregation we long for every member to experience fellowship through house groups or organisations. We realise that we are by no means a perfect church, but we invite you to browse through these pages to get a fuller picture of all that happens in the place. If you are thinking of coming to West for the first time you can be assured that you will be made welcome. Our statement of Core Values is all embracing. In West we want to be: For further information visit the West Church website at www.westchurchbangor.org.uk |
