St. Andrew's, Bangor

St. Andrew's was developed as a church extension charge in 1948 to deal with the growth of Bangor as a dormitory town.

It is situated just off the main ring road in the town, opposite the grounds of Bangor Football Club.

The church runs the normal activities (P.W.A., Y.W.G., Sunshine Hour for the elderly, Youth Fellowship, Men's Fellowship, Bowling Club, Sunday School and Bible Class, Midweek Study Groups, Worship Group, B.B., G.B. etc.), has an all day nursery school using the premises and enjoys close relations with the Primary School next door. In addition, annual events such as the Summer Holiday Bible Club and Youth Camp are well attended.
