Ballywatt Road,
Sunday Service:
Minister: Rev. Ivan Hunter |
BallywattBallywatt has approximately 150 families, many of whom have lived and farmed in the area for generations. The Church building can be clearly seen from the main Ballymoney to Portrush Road, although it has a Coleraine address. The present building was erected in 1895, and is of considerable architectural interest. The nearby Moore Memorial Hall was opened in 1911 and is designed in the same style as the church: both buildings are the work of the architect Vincent Craig. The church has been extensively renovated in recent years. The church buildings serve as a focus for the local community; being regularly used by the local primary school, Boys' Brigade, Girls' Brigade, Parent and Toddler Group, Playgroup, Presbyterian Women's Association, Bowling Club and Youth Fellowship. We are located in a holiday area and always look forward to welcoming visitors. NB: There is a creche available during the morning service. |
