Ballymote

Nestled under the world famous Carrowkeel archeological site, the Ballymote Presbyterian congregation meets about halfway along the Ballymote/Castebaldwin Road. The present church building, manse, and school (now used as the hall) were build in the 1850s after they lost the lease on the land they had used since they were established in 1795. The new site is located in the Graniamore townland, as the sign in front of the church attests.

Although the current congregation is small, the worship is heart-felt and the welcome is warm and friendly.
