West Church, Ballymena

West Church was opened on the first Sunday of January 1863 to accommodate the large number of new converts to the Christian faith as a result of the 1859 revival. Today our congregation has over 1,500 members of all ages and backgrounds, and we have a long history as an integral part of the Ballymena community. We are certainly not stuck in the past but rather we seek to honour the past by learning from it and moving confidently into the future. I am delighted to have this opportunity to introduce you to West Church, and bring you the warm Christian greetings of our congregational family. Perhaps you have lived in this area for a number of years, or you may have just moved into our community recently - whatever the case we at West assure you of a warm welcome at all of our Church activities. We are a fellowship of friendly, happy people who want to share the joy of following Jesus with you.
