Second Ballyeaston

Second Ballyeaston is a friendly, welcoming and innovative congregation with opportunities for every member to be involved in our mission and ministry.

The church is set in the Sixmilewater Valley just 2 miles north-east of Ballyclare in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

The congregation was established in 1763 at Rashee, close to the present church, moving to the current site in 1768. In 1880 it became known as Second Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church. Today the congregation continues to serve our mixed rural and developing urban community.

Our Vibrant Youth Ministry includes Sunday School, 4CYT Youth Fellowship, SHINE drama group, a Saturday Primary-age Youth Club, a teen Multi-media Club, a Boy's Brigade and Girl's Brigade (shared with our neighbouring congregation of First Ballyeaston).

For adults there are plenty of opportunities to meet others socially with Choir, Women's Groups, Young Adults Badminton, Indoor Bowls, and a keep fit group.

Sunday Morning Worship is at 11.30, with Sunday School taking place during the service. Our worship includes all ages, drawing on the best of our historical and contemporary traditions.

Evening Worship at 7.30pm is held once a month between October and June.

Communion is celebrated on the 3rd Sundays of January evening, May, November, and the evening of Maundy Thursday.
