Ballycairn

Ballycairn church was formed in 1830 and at that time was situated in the townland of Ballycairn which is approximately half a mile from the village of Drumbo.

The present church was opened in 1926 and is situated in a beautiful rural area just south of Belfast City boundary and within the Lagan Valley regional Park.

Our buildings which include an extensive suite of halls enables us to:

  • Provide an opportunity for all to come to, and grow in, a living faith
  • Make you feel welcome
  • Create a caring community where you are involved and feel valued
  • Be family-focused
  • Provide a high standard of worship, embracing the best of the old and new
  • Reach out to the wider community, both at home and abroad to show practical Christianity in action

Other activities include:

  • Badminton (Friday evenings)
  • Bowling Club (Wednesday and Saturday evenings)
  • Tots and Co (Thursday mornings)
  • PW meet monthly
  • Choir practice weekly (Wednesday evenings)

Our Sunday service commences at 11.30am (11.00am July and August) and includes an evening service once per month at 6.30pm. (Except July and August).
