Trinity, BailieboroughTrinity Church is situated on the Virginia Road, on the left as you leave town, it was built in 1887, replacing an older Church one mile from town at Urcher known as 2nd Bailieborough, which was built in 1770, but demolished with just the graveyard remaining. The congregation consists of 51 families, with 151 persons of all ages connected to the Church, employed in agriculture, and local businesses. At special times such as Christmas, Easter, Harvest Thanksgivings, and when a fifth Sunday occurs in the month Trinity joins with the other two Churches in our group 1st. Bailieborough (Corglass), and Coroneary for a joint Service of Worship at 11a.m. alternating between Churches. Most of the activities outside Sunday Worship are with the other congregationsin our group. Bible Study in the Manse on alternate Thursday nights, monthlymeetings of the Presbyterian Women's Association, The J Club meets fortnightly to cater for music, art, and drama with a Christian bias for NationalSchool children while Focus, our youth fellowship, meets in the Manse on a monthly basis, as well as attending P.Y.M. activities. Boys Brigade meet on Friday nights in the Hall, and Girls from our congregation attend G.F.S. on Friday nights in the Parish Hall.
