Armoy

Armoy village is located 6 miles from Ballycastle on the main road between Ballymena and Ballycastle. It is 9 miles from Ballymoney.

The first minister was called in 1771.

Armoy Church has 139 families in 1997, many of these families have lived in the area for a long time, a number are farmers.

Regular worship is held on Sunday mornings at 10.30am and 'special' evening services (Harvest, Communion, Christmas, Children's Day etc.) are held at 7.30pm.

The church is linked with Ramoan Presbyterian Church (4 miles away) since 1996. There is a combined midweek Bible Study and Prayer meeting (at Ramoan)

The church provides some organisations which are supported by the local community. This includes Boys' Brigade, Girls' Brigade, Sunday School and Bible Classes. Presbyterian Women's Association, Woman's Institute and Indoor Bowling Club.
