Alexandra

Alexandra Presbyterian Church is situated on the York Road in North Belfast. For directions to our church please go to www.alexandrapresbyterian.org.uk/directions.

The congregation was formed in 1942 with an amalgamation of York Street and Castleton Presbyterian Churches, with Alexandra being housed in the former Castleton Church building.

Alexandra is a busy and active congregation with many clubs and organizations held throughout the week for people of all ages.

For children and young people we have a Good News Club, a Table Tennis Club, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides, Anchor Boys, Junior Section and Company Section and a full programme of activities on a Sunday morning including a Créche, 'Kids for Christ' (KFC) - our Sunday School programme and 'Bible 4 Teens'.

During the week we have a Midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting, 'Alexandra Missionary Fellowship' and a Presbyterian Women's group that meet on alternate weeks. A community woman's group, called 'Time 4 U' also meet on a Wednesday from 12.00pm.

On alternate Friday nights, we also have a 'Nite Lite' ministry that works from a caravan situated at the old McCunes building at the bottom of Skegoneill Avenue.

During the summer, we run a 3 week summer scheme for children and young people of the church and the surrounding community. The first 2 weeks are for children aged 5-10 and the final week for teens (11+).
