Abbey, Monkstown

Abbey Presbyterian Church is located at the top of the Jordanstown Road where it meets the Monkstown Road in a parish comprising both new-build and established housing.

The church was erected as a full member of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland as a church extension charge in 1974. It currently has a congregation of approximately 480 families.

Sunday services commence at 11.30am and 6.30pm. Times for prayer are on Sunday at 10.30am and on the second and fourth Wednesday each month at 8pm.

There are a variety of organisations which cater for all age groupings throughout the week.

We strive to be a congregation with a heart for, and an outreach into, our community. We are a warm and welcoming people who extend a very warm and sincere welcome to all who wish to worship the risen Lord with us.
